The Humboldt Local Agency Formation Commission (LAFCo) is accepting applications from interested community members to serve as the Alternate Public Member on the Commission. The Alternate Public Member participates in Commission meetings and serves as a voting member in the absence or disqualification of the Regular Public Member. The appointment is for a four-year term ending June 30, 2030.
Application Process: This position will remain open until filled. Applications received by June 19, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. will be considered for potential appointment at the July 15, 2026, LAFCo meeting. Selected applicants may be contacted for additional information and/or invited to participate in an interview prior to appointment.
